In a deeply upsetting development for Kannada cinema lovers, the memorial of legendary actor Dr Vishnuvardhan at Abhiman Studio, Kengeri in Karnataka, was reportedly demolished overnight under police protection. This move follows a Karnataka High Court order amid a long-standing legal battle over land ownership between the Balanna family (studio owners) and the actor’s fans.
