Late-night eating may be bad for liver, study finds

A study led by Oregon Health & Science University found that late-night eating may increase the risk of liver diseases, including fatty liver disease and cirrhosis. Researchers analysed data from nearly 2,00,000 participants and found a 20%-30% higher risk of liver disease among those who ate late at night. Finishing meals several hours before bedtime might be beneficial, researchers said.
