Basketball player Lauri Markkanen has signed a five-year, $238 million extension contract with Utah Jazz according to reports. The reports added the contract will provide $220 million in new money and he will make $36 million this season, up from the $18 million on his previous contract. The deal reportedly also states that Markkanen can't be traded for six months.
