Lawmakers ride donkey carts as petrol prices near PKR 400 in Pakistan

Multiple Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers rode donkey carts to the Sindh Assembly to protest Pakistan's petrol prices nearing PKR 400. Calling the rising prices a "petrol bomb", PTI leader SA Soomro said, "Petrol has become so expensive that we cannot even come to assembly in our vehicles." "Robbing pockets of the poor public is unacceptable," a PTI leader's poster read.
