A Haryana-based lawyer has approached Election Commission (ECI) to register online satirical group Cockroach Janta Party in his own name, separate from its US-based founder Abhijeet Dipke, Moneycontrol reported. Lawyer has identified himself as party’s national convener in the application. If approved, the group could be eligible to secure its social media presence under its official identity.
