Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun slammed Iran for allegedly using Lebanon as a "bargaining chip" in its negotiations with US and said "it's unacceptable". "It's our country...It's not your job to interfere into our country," he added. This comes after Iran expressed support for Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and said Israel must withdraw from Lebanon as part of any regional settlement.
