Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian on Thursday said a state official-led panel found that flawed certifications and misuse of legal technicalities led to illegal kidney transplant racket. In response, government cancelled licences of two hospitals to conduct organ transplant. Additionally, departmental action was taken against seven officials who mistakenly approved documents improperly.
