Legendary French actress Marina Vlady passes away

French actress Marina Vlady, who appeared in more than 80 films, died on Thursday aged 88, her family told AFP. She worked with French New Wave director Jean-Luc Godard and Hollywood legend Orson Welles. Vlady won the Best Actress prize at Cannes in 1963 for The Conjugal Bed. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe for the film.
