Tomonobu Itagaki, legendary Japanese game developer behind 'Dead or Alive' series and 'Ninja Gaiden', has passed away aged 58. In 2021, Itagaki had launched Itagaki Games, a new studio that was reportedly developing an original project at the time of his death. He'd also sued his former employer Tecmo for unpaid bonuses related to his creation 'Dead or Alive 4'.
