The shares of eyewear retailer Lenskart fell on Monday amid social media backlash over its alleged restrictions barring employees from wearing a tilak and a bindi at work while allowing hijabs and turbans. The stock dropped nearly 5% to ₹508.7 apiece. The company later apologised and issued a standardised in-store style guide to include bindi, tilak, sindoor, kalawa and mangalsutra.
