Android 9 Pie is running on less than 0.1% of Android smartphones since its launch earlier this month, according to Google's distribution chart. Android Pie's predecessor Android Oreo increased its market share from 12.1% in July to 14.6% in August. Further, Android Nougat holds a total market share of 30.8%, making it the most used Android version in August 2018.
