LIC managing ₹51 lakh crore money, double the size of Pak's economy
The total assets under management (AUM) of state-owned insurer LIC has now crossed the ₹50 lakh crore mark to nearly double the size of Pakistan's GDP. LIC's AUM increased by 16.48% year-on-year to ₹51,21,887 crore ($616 billion) as of March-end. Pakistan's GDP is only about $338.24 billion, according to the IMF.
