LIC MD Dinesh Pant retires voluntarily, joins IRDAI

LIC Managing Director Dinesh Pant formally exited the state-owned insurer after the Government of India approved his voluntary retirement, effective September 24, 2026. Pant also ceased roles in LIC's IT Strategy, Executive, and Investment Committees. He was earlier appointed Whole-Time Member (Actuary) at IRDAI for five years. LIC has not yet named a successor.
