Licence of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar's Bikaner Mithaiwala outlet suspended by FDA

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the licence of Bikaner Mithaiwala outlet in Waluj area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district over unhygienic conditions, Mid Day reported. FDA officials seized 56.5 kg of mawa and assorted sweets worth ₹18,950. Officials found that sweet barfi was being used in place of khoya, following which the stock was destroyed on the spot.
