Licence of Mumbai's iconic Cafe Mondegar suspended over food safety violations

Maharashtra FDA suspended food licence of iconic Cafe Mondegar in South Mumbai's Colaba over serious food safety and hygiene violations. These include equipment not being properly cleaned and sanitised, inadequate drainage system near food preparation area, damaged flooring and temperature-control failures for hot and cold foods. FDA also suspended licences of three other establishments in Mumbai.
