At least 35 people, including children, were injured after lightning​ struck a football pitch at the end of a children’s football match in Germany on Sunday. Three adults, including the referee, were hit directly and were reportedly rushed to the hospital by helicopter. Meanwhile in Paris, France, 11 people, including eight children were injured on Sunday by a lightning strike.
