A girl was attacked by a lioness at Shantou Zhongshan Park Zoo in China's Guangdong, while in an interactive feeding area. The lioness grabbed her legs, but a nearby man managed to pull her to safety after a brief struggle. The girl suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized. The zoo has been temporarily closed and authorities have launched an investigation.
