Liquor prices jumped 20% in Gurugram as Haryana's new excise policy, which proposes increase in duties on liquor, has come into force. As per reports, people will have to pay ₹5 more on a bottle of Indian liquor and ₹20 more for beer. Haryana government auctioned 162 zones with 324 liquor vends across Gurugram east and west, earning ₹1,756 crore.
