All liquor vends/shops across Delhi will shut by 8 pm until Sunday, against the usual closing time of 10 pm, reports stated. This is to reduce the "possibility of intoxication-induced incidents capable of escalating into serious law and order situations" by anti-social elements amid the CJP-led student protest, police said. An official order will reportedly be issued to all shops.
