Liquor to cost 15% more in Gurugram from April 1

Liquor prices are set to rise by nearly 15% in Gurugram from April 1 as the Haryana government has announced a hike in excise duty and VAT on the sale of liquor for 2017-2018. The increase in taxes announced on Sunday will raise the prices of country liquor, Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL), foreign liquor and low alcohol content beverages.
