IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi are among the top 150 universities of the world, as per Quacquarelli Symonds' World University Rankings 2025. They secured 118th and 150th positions, respectively. IISc ranked 211th, IIT Kharagpur 222nd, IIT Madras 227th and IIT Kanpur secured the 263rd spot. Delhi University is on 328th spot, followed by IIT Roorkee (335) and IIT Guwahati (344).
