The IMD has released a list of cities that recorded more than 44°C as their maximum temperature on Friday. UP's Banda with 47.4°C recorded the highest maximum temperature, followed by 46.8°C in Prayagraj. Rajasthan's Ganganagar and Maharashtra's Chandrapur recorded maximum temperature of 46.4°C, while UP's Jhansi and Delhi's Sports Complex observatory recorded 46.2°C maximum temperature.
