Eleven places recorded a temperature of less than 7°C today, the IMD list of coldest places in the plains of north India today shows. The lowest temperature was recorded in Bikaner at 2.8°C. The other coldest places are Chandigarh (4.9°C), Ambala (6.6°C), Karnal (6.3°C), Ludhiana (6.6°C), Amritsar (6.6°C), Ganganagar (6.8°C), Churu (5.4°C), Jaisalmer (5.5°C) Ajmer (4.8°C) and Udaipur (6.8°C).
