Secretary of Ministry of Mines Vivek Bharadwaj has said that the auction of lithium reserves found in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) will be started by December. Bharadwaj said the ministry has written to J&K administration for the transaction advisor for the lithium auction. Lithium inferred resources of 5.9 million tonnes were discovered in Salal-Haimana area of Reasi district of J&K.
