Litigants instituting suit can’t be compelled to add a party: SC

The Supreme Court has held that the litigants who have instituted the suit are dominus litis, and if they do not array the necessary parties to the suit, they do so at their own risk. The Court also held that they cannot be compelled to add a party to defend a suit against their wishes.
