Liverpool thrashed newly-promoted Norwich City 4-1 in Premier League 2019/20 season opener on Friday. Norwich City defender Grant Hanley scored an own goal in seventh minute, the second time that the first goal of a PL season was an own goal. Liverpool became the first team since August 2006 to score four first-half goals on a PL season's first day.
