JP Dutta, who directed movies 'Border' and 'LOC: Kargil', said 'LOC: Kargil' was "much bigger than" 'Border' content wise and in terms of physical effort. "'Border' was about only one battalion. 'LOC: Kargil' dealt with almost 10 battalions," he stated. "The film looked at the entire Kargil tragedy," he added. 'Border' and 'LOC: Kargil' released in 1997 and 2003 respectively.
