The Line of Control (LoC) is the de facto border separating Indian-administered and Pakistani-administered regions of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. LAC (Line of Actual Control) is the border between India and China, but both countries disagree on its exact location. While LoC is marked and guarded, the LAC often sees standoffs due to differing perceptions of territory.
