A study by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) has revealed that the overall contribution of local and regional sources to increasing air pollution in Delhi-NCR region during winter is higher than the contribution from stubble burning. As per the study, other sources contributed more than 80% of the average concentration compared to the stubble fire smoke.
