Local people, along with the District Disaster Response Force (DDRF) team and local police in the Chamoli district in Uttarakhand, successfully rescued a cow trapped in the swift currents of the Alaknanda River. "Demonstrating courage, promptness, and humanity, the team safely extracted the cow and handed it over to the Animal Husbandry Department," Uttarakhand Police wrote on X.
