short by Medhaa Gupta / on Monday, 13 December, 2021
Residents have alleged that Bengaluru's Ullal Lake has been damaged over the years due to Bangalore Development Authority's unplanned development activities, encroachment of the lake bed and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike's lack of maintenance. The lake, which seems fully fenced from outside, is partially filled with sewage water and has layers of algae and weed, reported The Indian Express.
