A departmental probe has been initiated against a sub-inspector posted in Baghapurana Police Station of Punjab's Moga district after locals allegedly recovered ₹20,000 bribe money from him. "SI demanded ₹20,000 from the family...[They] approached us...We kept photocopies of all notes...Later we...recovered all the notes from the sub-inspector," Jagmohan Gill, activist of Lok Insaaf Party said.
