US Defence Giant Lockheed Martin has proposed a specialized C-130J Super Hercules Transport Aircraft to India for special operations. Dubbed C-130J-SOF, this variant will build on the IAF's existing C-130J, being utilized by the Indian Special Forces elites, the NSG. It offers advanced features for special missions, including combat search and rescue, airdrop, and close air support.
