Lokayukta has initiated an inquiry into the death of a 76-year-old Bengaluru woman in a stray dog attack. Notices were sent to eight BBMP officials for negligence. During the probe, unaccounted cash and Rs 16.50 crore in uncollected taxes were found at two gram panchayat offices, with further details sought by October 15.
