Lonely Planet has published an article on the locations the oscar nominee and Leonardo DiCaprio starrer “The Revenant” was filmed at. The film, about fur-trader Hugh Glass, was reportedly mostly shot in Canada, with the opening scene being shot at Alberta’s Stoney First National Reserve. Other locations were at Tierra del Fuego in Argentina and Kootenai Falls in Montana, USA.
