Telangana CM Revanth Reddy announced plans to introduce a bill to allow government to deduct 10–15% of the salaries of state employees found neglecting their elderly parents. The amount will be deposited directly into the parents' bank accounts, he added. "Employees should ensure that some part of their salary reaches their parents, especially when they are ageing," he said.
