Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai expressed serious disapproval at Central government's request for adjournment of pleas against constitutional validity of the provisions of Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021. "If you don't want us to hear and deliver judgement, just tell us. Looks like you want this matter only after November 24 (after CJI Gavai's retirement)," he told Centre's lawyer.
