L'Oréal's Liliane Bettencourt named world's richest woman

According to Forbes World’s Billionaires List 2017, 94-year-old L'Oréal heiress Liliane Bettencourt has been named the world's richest woman for the second year with a net worth of $39.5 billion. Bettencourt, who owns a third of L'Oréal with her children, secured the 14th spot on the list. Alice Walton, daughter of Wal-Mart founder, has been named the second richest woman.
