Following the $102-million jewellery heist, France's Louvre museum transferred some of its most precious jewels to the Bank of France on Friday, French radio RTL reported. It added that items were transferred from the museum's Apollo gallery, which houses French crown jewels, under secret police escort. Notably, Louvre's security lapses were exposed in the heist.
