Nearly one million padlocks weighing almost 45 tonnes will be removed from the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris after a section had collapsed under the weight of the locks last year. Tourists from around the world flock to the Pont des Arts bridge to attach a lock to represent their eternal love, and throw the key into the river.
