A 10-year-old boy in Varanasi was allegedly strangled by his mother’s lover, Faizan, after catching him with her. Faizan and his aide Rashid dumped the body in fields. Police arrested both and also took the mother, Sona Sharma, into custody. Faizan was shot in the leg while trying to escape during the body’s recovery.
