Lower minimum age for contesting elections to 21: Raghav Chadha in Parliament

AAP MP Raghav Chadha demanded that the minimum age for contesting elections in India be reduced to 21 years from 25 years. "We're a young country with old politicians. We must aspire to become a young country with young politicians," he said in Rajya Sabha. "If people can vote at 18 years...one can also contest elections at 21," Chadha added.
