Lower sodium diet improves blood pressure control: Study

A new clinical trial published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that a lower-sodium version of the DASH diet tailored for people with type 2 diabetes called the DASH4D diet led to a 4.6 mm Hg drop in systolic blood pressure. The findings reinforce the power of dietary changes in managing heart health and reducing cardiovascular risk in diabetic patients.
