Ahead of IPL 2026, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka, along with the coaching staff and players, visited the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya. LSG captain Rishabh Pant, head coach Justin Langer and Global Director of Cricket Tom Moody accompanied Goenka during the visit. Moody called the visit "exceptional", while Langer said, "Shanti."
