SRH captain Aiden Markram won the toss and elected to bat first against LSG at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Veteran leg-spinner Amit Mishra has been included in LSG's playing XI and he will be debuting for the team at the age of 40. Meanwhile, Markram is making his captaincy debut for SRH.
