Central government employees will now get the privilege of visiting some SAARC nations (except Pakistan) under leave travel concession (LTC) rules. "A proposal in this regard is being finalised by the government," Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced. The move has been initiated to promote people-to-people contact among the SAARC nations. Employees get leave and ticket reimbursement under LTC.
