Mumbai-based Carnival Group has bought Larsen & Toubro’s Elante Mall in Chandigarh for Rs 1,785 crore. The mall, which includes the Hyatt luxury hotel and over 1.5 million square feet of retail space, is estimated to be renting out space worth Rs 120 crore a year. This is reportedly the country’s biggest real estate deal for a single asset.
