Commenting on the film Joker's scene, in which Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck kills Robert De Niro's Murray Franklin, filmmaker Quentin Tarantino said, "They [the maker] got the audience to think like a f**king lunatic and to want [Arthur to kill Murray]. Tarantino said on Empire Podcast, "[Murray] doesn't deserve to die. Yet...the audience...want...him [Joker] to...blow his f**king head off."
