Birch by Romeo Lane's co-owner Ajay Gupta told Goa Police that his partners, Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, are the club's main financiers. Gupta claimed UK national Surinder Khosla, against whom a lookout circular has been issued, leased the land to Luthras. The illegal structure housing the club was built in 1996 and kept changing over the years, Gupta added.
