The 2025 Nobel Prize in Literature has been awarded to Hungarian author László Krasznahorkai. He has been honoured "for his compelling and visionary oeuvre that, in the midst of apocalyptic terror, reaffirms the power of art." László will get prize money of 11 million Swedish kronor (₹10 crore). Last year, South Korean author Han Kang won Nobel Prize in Literature.
